Beautiful Gardenia

I just bought a fairly young gardenia bush in Gainesville, FL. It is still in the pot I bought it in. It is sitting outside on the northwest side of my backyard. Can I keep it in a larger container instead of planting it in the ground, and how large a container will I need to keep it comfortable and viable as a flowering specimen?

Yes, you can grow your gardenia in a container. It doesn’t have to be much larger than the one it’s already in, maybe go up another size or two.
