Bean Plants Turning Brown at the Bottom

My pole bean plants look healthy everywhere except at the bottom. The leaves are turning yellow and there have not been any blooms. The vines have been staked and are approximately 7 feet high. Can you give me any advice? We have a small raised backyard garden.

The plants are underwatered. Increase watering. If they are currently getting water, check the roots for bugs on the roots that are restricting water.
