Beans and flies

There were dead flies attached to the vines of all of my bean plants today, but I’ve never even seen any flies buzzing around the garden.

1) Are bean plants deadly for flies?
2) Is it normal for flies to attach themselves to bean plants?

The flies may have been there feeding on another insect.
Inspect the plants and you may even want to treat with Neem Oil to keep the plants healthy and free of insect damage.
