Bayberry Stratification

Hello Team,

I have some seeds of Bayberry from China and want to sow in Pakistan. Would you please guide me about the process of “Stratification”. Does the following stratification works?
“Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours” or do i have to use “cold stratify for 90 days” method.
