Q.Basil base leafs falling off

Zone Roseville | Pinku no buta added on July 8, 2017 | Answered

I do not know if this is normal or not but I am growing this Genovese basil plant for about 2 months now and all of a sudden one of the base leafs falls off. On the second base leaf which hasn’t fallen yet had this strange grey spot as showed in the pictures. I would just like some advice on how I can help my basil and what the heck is happing to the base leaves.

These first two leaves are called cotyledons and it is perfectly normal for them to fall off. This article will help
