Q.Basic Planting Guide
Hi, I wanted to sow some perennial wildflowers that would be suited to the wooded area at the back of my property, in Virginia 23113. There are deer so they would have to be deer resistant; I saw some on your site (I think) but couldn’t see when they should be sown; I’d like some to sow now (or after the first frost) I aso want to buy a gardening book or app, that would give me a month by month, what I can/should be doing in the garden, not just vegetables but flowers shrubs etc. I am from England so do not want to introduce species that will disrupt my VA ecosystem but would love to have English as well as Virginian Bluebells but I think they can be invasive? but not Spanish. I want to also plant some roses, I have had mixed success in my previous VA home but would also like to learn how to take successful cuttings etc; this may be covered by an app? but I want to also buy my daughter a good book (suitable for VA) on gardening, making a pond, vegetable growing, fruit trees etc (she has an acre so lots of canvas!

These articles should help. You can sow most wildflowers in the fall after the warm weather has passed.
