Barley Green Powder

Question

I, am wondering if I take barley green powder and put it in cheesecloth, add my distilled water, and use it as a foliar spray for my squash leaves that have been losing colour because of downy mildew.

I didn't find any research that supported using green powder for plants. Plus, wetting the leaves could be detrimental. Treating the downy mildew should be sufficient. Here is more:
