Bark damage

Your website helped me to repair my tree but it doesn’t say how long to leave the tape on. Please help.

If the wound of the tree was the type that needed bark held in place, I would only leave on until the tree stops weeping or oozing.
Keeping the wound clean and inspecting for insects or disease is very important. Air circulation is always the best for tree wounds.
