bananas on the tree ripening and filling out

our bunches of bananas are small in size , yet are starting to show black streaks on them! Each bunch has several hands , four to five on them. Can you tell me what is happening ? The last bunch we had last year ripened from top to bottom and didn’t really taste very good.

This sounds like a Black Streak Fungus.
