Q.Azeleas

Zone Campbeltown Argyll,Scotland. | Mogmug added on September 2, 2016 | Answered

My Azaleas have gall. I have picked all off but the odd lump appears. What can I do? There are no pictures as I have destroyed the infected bits.

The most important aspect of control of azalea gall is to keep the area around the plant very clean and tidy, and to remove the infected parts as soon as they appear, as you are already doing. Make sure any infected parts and also any leaves that fall from the azaleas are removed and disposed of in a secure container.
