Q.Azaleas

Anonymous added on January 23, 2015 | Answered

Between our yard and a neighbor’s yard, I would like to plant something bushy, about 2 to 3 feet tall, to block their leaves from blowing into our yard. I wouldn’t mind having to trim it back if I had to. I live in Louisville, Ky. The area may get about 4 to 6 hours of sun each day. There is one spot that holds water after a hard rain, say an inch of rain, for about a day. This is not on my property. Can you tell me what to plant? Thank you for your time.

Azaleas are excellent for hedges and work well in your climate.
