Azalea Shrub Died

I bought my mom a blue azalea shrub. I planted it about 3 1/2 months ago. I’m not sure if I watered it too much or if the frost got to it, but it’s now almost dead. The leaves are turning brown. What can I do to bring it back to life? If I can’t do anything, will it grow back next year?
