Azalea Problems

I planted 15 plus azaleas this spring. They have done wonderfully until recently. They are now turning brown and sickly- very unhealthy looking. On the unside of the leaves, there appears to be a black fungus/aphid??? on all plants. What do I treat them with?? I am afraid they aren’t going to make it if I don’t do something soon.

It sounds like you have both aphids and sooty mold. Sooty mold is a common side effect of aphids. These article should help you:
