Q.Azalea Problem. Few Leaves.
I bought 8 small azaleas last year. They look perfectly fine and healthy. This spring they a looking rather sorry for themselves. Lots of flowers but very few leaves. (see photo) My older azaleas in the garden are all healthy. We did get a late frost. Any advice would be appreciated.

a late frost would, certainly, be a hindrance for a young azalea. You may want to check the pH and nutrient content of the soil, too, though. This can play an important role in the health of this shrub. They do tend to prefer soil on the acidic side.
