Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have three Azalea bushes. This year they are only blooming at the top and the bottom of the bushes. It looks like there are buds on the rest of the bush, but they are very small. What could of happened?

Sounds like old man winter strikes again. Deep snow could have protected the lower buds while those higher on the plant were frozen. Kind of puzzled as to why the tops are flowering, though. Did you by any chance put some kind of protection on the tops of the bushes? Just to be sure, you might want to take some branch samples to the Extension Service to make sure there are no bugs or disease.
