Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a three year old avocado tree. It’s 9 ft tall with three main branches coming up from the root
Do I need to cut two of those branches and leave only one?
Many thanks

Although this is best done when the tree is young, it could still help it out to only have one trunk.
Keeping all of the growth at the base cut, and letting one leader take over will increase overall productivity and health. This article will help you to grow avocados: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/avocado/avocado-tree-growing.htm [1]
