There are a few things to know...
This CAN be kept in container, successfully. With occasional root pruning, and top pruning, it can be kept in the same container for years!
Unfortunately, it will never fruit, alone. It will require a tree of the opposite sex. It still makes for a decent house tree, though!
The more light that you can give it, the shorter it will remain. Mine resides, happily, in a 2 gallon container, kept in miniature form, under 800 watts. With window light, unless it is a south facing window, you can expect quite a bit of stretching. If you can provide some extra light, it will stay shorter.
Keeping it in container means refreshing the nutrients. The easiest way will be a liquid feed of your choice, when it shows signs of deficiency.
Pruning appropriately will be important, as well.
