Q.Asparagus

Anonymous added on February 15, 2014 | Answered

We have had a mild winter here in south Texas. The fronds of the asparagus have not died back yet. When do I cut them back for this year’s season?

It is usually better to cut them back in fall, but you can wait until spring if necessary. If you haven't read this already, the following article may be of some help to you for future reference: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/asparagus/cutting-asparagus-foliage-back-in-autumn.htm
