Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI bought a dormant farm in upstate NY last summer that had healthy asparagus beds. As instructed, I cut them down in late October after they turned yellow. I did not mulch them. We had a severe winter with not much snow cover and two weeks of sustained zero or below. we are having a late spring but even now in early may there is no signs of life in the asparagus patch. Did I lose the patch over the winter?

A well established Asparagus patch is very hardy. Give the patch a bit more time.
Water if the soil is dry. 1 to 2 inches of water per week for an established bed.
