Q.Asparagus
The 1st year I did not cut them
down at end season. Mine have made big bushes. Some have little red berries. I live in New Mexico. Mine are nice and green. Some start to turn yellow. Do I trim when it gets cold or, leave them alone?

This appears to be normal as the plant tries to go dormant for the year. The red berries signify that you have a female plant.
