Q.Asiatic Lilies

Anonymous added on June 22, 2015 | Answered

Does soil type affect color of Asiatic lilies like it can for hydrangeas? If so, what would the treatment be to change the color? I have had mixed answers from local nurseries about whether the soil affects them, but I seem to have plants that are different colors than when I bought them.

No, the soil does not affect the color of the lily. In poor soils, the colors may not be as vivid, but it would not affect the actual color.
