Q.Asian Pear Not Doing Well

Zone 8a | Faizan N added on May 22, 2025 | Answered

I have a 2-3 year old asian pear that has upper leaves turning yellowish ina soecific patter. I dont know if its a nutrient deficiency or something else. I dont think there has been any new growth recently when it shouldbe actively growing st this time. It has been rather unnaturally hot for this time of year with little rain. Would you kindly identify what this is and how it can be fixed?

I see at least 1 issue. There could be an issue with iron uptake. I'd look at pH being high. This is a common culprit, since pH fluctuations can lock out iron. An overabundance of phosphorus can cause the pH to go up, as well. I'd test your soil and adjust the nutrients and pH as needed.
