The leaves are starting to turn brown around the edges. Am I watering it too much or is there another problem?

The soil should dry out a bit between waterings.
Lack of humidity could also cause the brown leaves.

You may also want to water with distilled water, or allow tap water to sit out for 48 hours before using.
