My plant is out of control . If I would cut it off a few inches above the dirt .will it grow back ? I have done plenty of cutting to root them . It’s so big big it looks awful.

Syngonium is a rather unruly plant that is hard to keep looking good. It is naturally a vining or trailing plant and resists being grown in an upright manner. Consider letting the stems drape over the edge of the pot.

Any stem can be cut off above a node and new growth will emerge subsequently at that node. Prune it so that it looks the way you want it to.
