Are My Flowers Pollinated?

I live in the Pacific Northwest. I started my first ever attempts at growing chili peppers (Reds, Jalapenos and Thais) this spring, and now they are flowering. I did what I’ve read in other places and trimmed off the first blooms in order to get a better harvest. Here I am in the second bloom phase, and it appears they have properly fertilized themselves. The petals fell off by themselves (not the whole blossom) leaving only the stigma. Does this mean they will likely produce fruit? It was my understanding that this is so. Thanks for the help!

Usually the flowers, if pollinated, will wilt within 24 hours. The ovule will begin to swell and enlarge as it produces fruit.
