Are Hosta able to survive in the Florida hot weather?

I saw this plant in New Hampshire while visiting my sister and thought I would try to plant if can grow in Central real Florida. Thanks. Carl

Hosta grow in Zones 3-9 and you are in zone 9b. Plant your Hosta in a full shade location.
