When is the best time to top Arborvites? Ours are well over 20 feet and are now starting to bend during winter snows.

There is really no "best" time to prune these. They are very hardy, and will tolerate this at just about any time. I find that a good time to trim these is in early winter. Here is a link to more articles on the care of these trees:
