Q.Apricots with rust
– are they ok to eat if peel the skin? I intend cooking them.
I appreciate that I should spray, but they are all ripe really and I guess too late to spray this year.

This will not harm you, and will be safe to be consume. It would be best to treat the problem though. You may apply wettable sulfur at any time. This will take care of the issue in the soil, and that will allow the tree to correct the issue in itself.
