Q.Apricot Tree Dropping Fruit Before Ripening

Anonymous added on April 29, 2011 | Answered

I was wondering why every year my apricot tree drops its fruit when they are only quarter sized. My tree gets loaded with blooms but I only find a few fruits on the ground; otherwise, the tree seems healthy.

Premature fruit drop is the result of poor pollination or an insect problem. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/apricots/apricot-tree-not-fruiting.htm
