Apricot Tree Diseases

My apricots have a brownish color on them about 1/4 to 1/3 of their skin surface. Is this a disease? What do I do about it?

Most likely this is caused from pests or a fungus (which is often due to pest attacks) and spraying the tree with insecticidal oil before it buds will reduce the number of pests on the tree that can cause damage. I personally like neem oil. It is safe for humans, animals and beneficial bugs. It will help with both pests and fungal issues.
