Q.apricot tree

Zone Utah | mcmillanad1 added on June 24, 2015 | Answered

I have an Apricot tree that is probably 20 years old. Two years ago I had aphids all over the tree. I sprayed to get rid of them. Last year I only had a handful of fruit. This year not anything. I know we had a late frost but I didn’t even get one. Is there anything I can do? Looking at the leaves, it looks really healthy.

If is most likely environmental, the cold winter we all suffered, and the late frost.

Watch for any return of insects and treat accordingly.
Check for fertilization needs and pruning concerns.
