Q.Apple Tree – What Sort Of Disease Do I Have?

Zone Leland, IA 50453 | Anonymous added on September 22, 2021 | Answered

Attached is a photo of my apple and leaf. All of the apples are like this and they seem to rot fast after they fall. Apples are falling before they are ripe.

There are many diseases that can plague apple. This reminds me of the start of Brown Rot (Monilinia fructicola). Though they are common on stone fruits, it can happen in apples, as well.
