Apple tree

My apple tree is quite mature. It didn’t seem to have many blossoms this year, then I saw leaves turning brown and shriveling, followed by the small ‘beginning growth’ of fruit turning brown. I don’t want it to die. Is there anything I can do? I have raked back any growth under the tree at its base.

Apple Trees do have several problems with disease.
I would treat the tree with Neem Oil, as it acts as both a insecticide and fungicide.

Here is a few links for you.
