Apple Tree Flowering, Not Fruiting

Question

bought as a 2 year Old tree (Pink lady) fruited the first year – beautiful crisp tasty apples 2nd year – lots of blossom but no fruit – had stormy weather and thought it was cos the blossoms all blew off. this year – heaps blossom but only 1 sole lonely apple ? espellier tree leaves look healthy, lots of new growth, trunk appears quite thin but sturdy what could it be?
