Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have an apple tree that has not produced fruit for several years and wonder if you could diagnose the problem and also suggest ways of restoring the tree to fruit-bearing health. The tree is diseased – with the problem affecting both leaves and fruit. The leaves are distorted, with brown patches and silvery trails running through them. There is also a powdery discharge on smaller branches. And when there were fruits, some contained blotchy patches. I have attached photos of the leaves – but I don’t have any pictures of the fruit. Your advice would be appreciated. Many thanks – Tony Stark

This tree is suffering from leaf miners, galls, and infections from infestation. Because multiple systems are involved, I would make sure to contact your local agricultural extension. This will, likely, end with the removal of the tree, though.
