Apple tree

Question

I have a apple tree and I hate it. All I do is pick up the apples off the ground and throw them in the trash. Is there anything I can do so it doesn’t bear fruit? It is a good shade tree but I do not want the fruit.

There are ways to go about this, but it is not advised, as it requires quite a bit of training to work with the hazardous chemicals properly. Some services will offer sterilization, though.
