Q.Apple sqeezings and pumpkins
I have large amounts of apple squeezings and pumpkins plus leaves and manure. Is this a good combination for a compost pile?

Goodness gracious YES. That's a great start. I would suggest leaves on bottom and top layer, with apples, pumpkins and manure in the middle.
