Q.Aphid Prevention Before Planting

Anonymous added on March 2, 2014 | Answered

Aphids came in and KILLED our vegetable garden mid season last year. Is there anything that I can do before I plant to prevent them this year? We had 54 successful years before them. Can too much compost attract them? Still trying to figure out what attracted them.

Sometimes even with all the best prevention measures taken, you may still find your garden affected by pests. However, we have found that neem oil in the garden is both effective and safe when it comes to treating or preventing aphid attacks. You can learn more about neem oil and aphids by reading the following articles: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm, https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/homemade-aphid-control-a-natural-way-to-kill-aphids.htm
