aphid eggs in soil

I had aphids in an outdoor potted plant. Will leaving the pot outside for winter kill any eggs or do I need to sterilize or replace the soil?

Unfortunately aphid eggs are very cold-hardy, so the winter will not kill them. So you’ll need to find a way to sterilize the soil, or get rid of it.
