What types of viruses do aphids spread? Most important, what types of incurable viruses do aphids spread? Is it still safe for me to rinse off the tomatoes and cucumbers from a plant filled with aphids and eat them?

The viruses spread by aphids only cause harm to plants and are not a threat to humans. So, yes you can simply wash off the fruits and eat as normal. If aphids are an issue in the garden, neem oil will help get rid of them. It is safe to use and also safe for you, pets, and beneficial insects.
