Q.ants on our peach tree
We have a peach tree and it has given us tons of peaches each year. My husband noticed some red ants crawling on the trunk and they appear to be eating the sap. Is this normal or do we have a problem?

This could be a serious disease such as canker or Gummosis.
The ants could also be attracted to honeydew, residue from insects on the tree.
You will need to do further inspection of the the tree; it's trunk, branches and leaves.
