How do I kill ants without killing plants?

There are two ways that I can recommend that work really well. Rosemary oil in water can keep them away, but if that does not work… Take sliced hot peppers and boil them in a small amount of water. Strain off after it cools, then pour a little of this into the soil. They will not stay after that.

Just be careful not to get either of these into your eyes, or mouth. It will not be pleasant.
