Insect Pest Control
Q.

Ants in window boxes

Zone Southern New Jersey | robin.leigh added on June 17, 2015 | Answered

I can't plunge my window boxes into water like suggested. Any safe sprays I could use? (I do have plastic inserts with the soil that sits down in the window box frames.)

You could use a granular insecticide in this case.
If your looking for a natural approach you could add a layer of diatomaceous earth.
