Ants

Question

Re-did the garden on the hill. It’s about 8 x 9 ft. It was ant free for 2 years, but this year my wife saw LOTS of the tiny lighter brown ants. The garden is framed with railroad ties and a couple 2 x 10’s on top of that. The soil is mixed with gardening bags from Lowes and such. Please any suggestions for the ants?
