Ant Hill Dirt

I live in northern PA, and our winter temps can go down to 20 below. My question is about ant hill dirt. I know where there are a few large ant hills. Is this dirt safe to add to my garden?

I would avoid using this dirt in the garden simply due to the possibility of there being unhatched eggs or remaining ants that may come along with it.
