Q.Angels Trumpets
I have been growing Angels Trumpets in zone 4 for a number of years. Some years I get an abundance of blooms, some only a few. I have not been able to get them to bloom earlier than mid Sept. I have not been repotting them each year and use Miracle Grow as fertilized. Any suggestions as to increase the number of flowers and get them to bloom earlier? Thank you. Steve. Srosmus@yahoo.com

Most MiracleGro products contain far too much nitrogen to promote flowering. This is likely the issue.
Use fertilizers that are higher in phosphorus and potassium, and don't have as much nitrogen for better flowering, and during the flowering season.
