I live in zone 6. I put my plant in the basement for the winter. It now has very pale rather large sprouts. What do I do now it’s still cold outside. Do I leave it in the basement or bring it up for light?

It sounds like it is breaking dormancy. You need to water it and put it in sunshine. Supplemental lighting is ideal. Even a desk lamp will help. Grow lights that fit desk lamps are available.
