American Red Rose Bush or Heads

pinkdiva added on April 11, 2012 | Answered

My father use to have the American red rose bush hedge. I can't seem to find this rose bush anymore. Does anyone have any idea what I'm asking and where I can purchase some? It actually looks like a bush or hedge with big red roses.

I do not show a shrub or hedge type rose of that name in any of my books....?? You could plant a row of double red Knockout roses and have a very nice similar effect. You might want to spend some time looking for it at a website called http://www.helpmefind.com and go search the roses area. There are some very nice red blooming large shrub roses that would fit the need too I am sure.
