Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have had my Amaryills plants for 7 years. They are 2 1/2 ft. tall and bloom 2x a year. Would it hurt them if I cut the leaves back to the bulbs when we move out of state? We are moving from MI to FL.

Those strap-like leaves are collecting energy for next year’s bloom. Let them turn yellow before you cut.
