Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy flowers have gotten so tall (30″) and are falling over. Can I cut them off and continue to see the unopened flowers open in a vase with water. I staked them up as best I could, but they don’t look very happy or attractive. They are big double white blooms.

Actually, you have another option that I would consider first before cutting them off. You could slide stakes over your flowers to get them upright.
However, if you do want to pursue cutting them (which is perfectly ok), the following website will tell you how in the sub-section entitled “amaryllis as cut flowers”.
